Hello. The restoration is not finished yet. This year I had some other project, as I had to re-build my garage. I also bought a few other 205's, so LeMans has to wait for its turn.

I only managed to get the engine out, make a complete overhaul, clean the engine bay, replace the clutch, and the distribution. Also I bought some new parts, like the wishbones, fuel pump, and many more, which now I can not remember.

Here are some photos of what was going on in my garage around LeMans in 2017.

Engine cleaning - it was very, very dirty and full of sand after 25 years of driving in Sweden.

At this stage, we are solving the problem with fuel pump, as there is no fuel running to the fuel filter. Probably this will be solved at the next garage session, but when? I don't really know...

Thanks for the compliment. To be honest - I am not a welder or painter. But the important thing is to pick the right people for the cooperation. When you mix it with some hard work, patience, and money - of course - the result can be really nice.

The GTI has received special registeration plates - the smaller ones, which were introduced by the comunication departament earlier this summer.
This is a short series, made for JDM and USDM cars, but I managed to get the "205" number anyway



Last friday I met my friend - Kuba Szafarz, a photographer living in Oslo. He came to Poland and we did some photoshooting. As for now I only have few backstage photos, but I will show you the final results later...
