My white 205 CTI with Gutmann wheels

I finally succesfully logged in on Planete 205, and I'm proud to present You my precious 205 CTI "Ermine White".

I bought the car less than 4 months ago. It is my second 205. My first was a 205 Gentry, but it had to go, as I purchased this beauty!

Important thing for me is the fact, that the car is 99 % original. The one percent missing is the non-original Remus exhaust, but it will be replaced in the right time

Now some facts about the car. It is a 1991 CTI. The colour is called "Ermine White". It differs a bit from the "Meije White", which could be found on GTI-s. The paint code is EWL IVI - quite rare. I haven't found many 205's in this colour.

It has the original engine, 1,9 102 hp in great condition. It also has the power steering, electric roof, electric windows. The rest is standard equipment, which can be found in a CTI Phase II.

The interior is in very good condition. Steering wheel looks like unused. I replaced the gearknob, for the one from 1.9 GTI.
The seats are also not original, because there are taken from 205 Griffe. I don't know how they got there, but I'am not going to get rid of them

I don't like the original CTI Speedline 14 rims, so I am using Speedline PTS SL434 alloy wheels. They look perfect on every Pug.
During the winter I use the alloys from Gentry. Speedline SL321.

The roof is in good condition. It is not original, but it doesn't leak, and will serve me for at least another few years.

very nice car but this exhaust isn't allowed on our website, which concerns 205 in original condition.
It seems that you will soon replace it...send us more pictures when it will be done...
could you send us pictures of the passenger compartment with its Griffe seats?

Wow, I did'nt know, that the regulations here are so strict. I didn't expect my photos to be removed just because the exhaust is not a genuine 205 part
But don't worry. The case will be solved soon. I am not a fan of quasi-tuning, and as soon as I find a original exhaust (which is not easy nowadays in Poland. My friend just bought one in... Belgium)i will replace this Remus thing

Hey!

I was browsing through the internet, trying to find some informations about white CTI's with the EWL IVI paintcode, but I couldn't find many 205's in this particular color.

My friend from polish forum has the same color on his 205 CJ. The guy in the paintshop told him, that this is a very rare paint, and Peugeot used it only for 2 years, mainly on cabriolet models.

I checked the paint codes here on Planete 205, but I also couldn't find any informations about "Ermine White" paint. There are only 3 types of white paint mentioned. POWT lub EWT - Meije White, POWP - White Banquise, and White Beta - POWL.

What about the 4th white paint - EWL IVI? I can not pick this option while setting my car color on the "Gestion des 205"...

If You have some informations about this paint code, or have the same color on Your 205, let me know

The interior is taken from the GTI Griffe, but like I said - I have no idea how it got there. The previous owner from Opole put it there. The back seats had to be fitted, because they were a little bit too big for a cabriolet.

About polish 205-s situation changes every year. When I bought my first 205 people used these cars as everyday drive. Now it looks much better. They take good care of their 205-s, and we have a lot GTI-s, CTI-s, Indiana-s, RG-s in very good condition.

unfortunately, we do not accept non-original engines (swaps = TCT, MI16...), or chassis modifications on our site , because of french legislation and above all, our wish to keep our vehicles in original condition.

I understand. In Poland nobody controls Your engine, so there is no pr0blem with swapping the motor.
But I am not a fan of changing anything in the 205, so my vehicles stay 100% original. Well, except the wheels. I change them sometimes
