205 Griffe N° 791/1652

Hello my Planete 205 friends.

Today was a very happy day for me. I finally managed to find a decent 205 GTI Griffe. I've been looking for this car for 6 long years. Now it's mine. I just can't describe that feeling

This is an export model with sunroof, and XU9JAZ engine, generating 122 horsepower.

It's almost 100 % stock. It has all the details, that Griffe should have. Gearknob, carpet, side emblems, green stitches on the steering wheel, ABS, central locking, heated mirrors, etc.

The mileage is 152 000 km. The car left the factory on 6.11.1990. It's number 791 out of 1652 ever made.

It's not perfect, but it's in really good shape for its age. And i promise You it will only get better

A little update and a few photos.

The car is already registered. I managed to get another set of plates with "205"




Central locking remote control it's back, and it works! I can open the door even from 2-3 meters, which amazes me


The Car Audio is working too. One speaker was not properly connected, so it was "mono" for a while, but now everything sounds as it should. I also put the Alpine radio with the panel color, which matches the "Vert Fluorite"




Yesterday my Griffe attended the first Youngtimer Meeting in Cracow.

Hello guys!
I forgot about my lovely Griffe for some time and I admit it. But the day has come when I hit the road once again!

Actually this was a great Griffe weekend. I drove it and I managed to improve a few little details.

Anyway - here are some of the photos. As You can see I am planning to change the rear lamps from the AXO to Valeo. I think that they will fit the Griffe style much better.

Another update.
I have changed the rear lamps from AXO to Valeo.

I also polished the hood and the front fenders and applied the Poorboy's wax.
